About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health & Safety Specialist to join our team at a high-performance Data Center in Munich. You’ll play a key role in promoting and maintaining a culture of safety and health excellence across our client’s critical infrastructure environment. This role involves hands-on management of health and safety programs and compliance, coordination with multiple stakeholders, and proactive engagement with employees to ensure a safe, compliant, and supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage employee-facing health and safety programs, including ergonomics, volunteer safety teams, and risk assessment initiatives
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable German and EU legal and regulatory requirements
  • Organize and maintain detailed health and safety documentation (e.g., training records, inspection reports, incident logs, safety data sheets)
  • Coordinate and schedule regular Health & Safety site audits and inspections
  • Maintain and update Health and Safety information on the internal SharePoint platform
  • Liaise with internal teams, external contractors, and vendors (first aid, fire extinguishers, air quality, etc.) to ensure safety goals are met
  • Actively promote a safety-first culture across all teams – be a visible advocate and role model for health and safety best practices
  • Deliver health and safety training sessions and awareness content to staff
  • Facilitate Health and Safety Committee meetings, including preparation, documentation, and follow-ups
  • Monitor and support workplace infection prevention protocols (e.g., COVID-19 response planning)
  • Respond to employee safety concerns and escalate where appropriate
  • Organize and support health and safety-related events and campaigns

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in occupational health and safety, preferably in a data center, technology, or high-compliance environment
  • Experience with international and EU/German health and safety programs and standards
  • Strong communication skills, with experience delivering training and presentations
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific, safety, or business discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Comfortable managing procurement and invoicing processes for safety-related services

Preferred Attributes

  • NEBOSH, Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit, or equivalent safety qualification
  • Familiarity with ISO standards or other global H&S frameworks
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong organizational skills
  • Experience using SharePoint or other intranet tools to manage safety resources

EHS Advisor – Dublin

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced EHS Advisor to join our client’s team in Dublin on a contract basis, supporting a Data Center project. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing and managing effective health and safety practices across all operations, ensuring compliance with legal standards and fostering a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and safety walks to monitor compliance.
  • Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and relevant training to staff and contractors.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, producing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety-related documentation, inspections, and training.
  • Provide expert advice to management and staff on occupational health and safety matters.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with Irish health and safety legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards.
  • Promote and embed a strong culture of safety awareness throughout the organisation.

Requirements

  • Recognised qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., Diploma/Degree or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within construction, engineering, or data center projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

EHS Advisor – Gavle

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to support our client’s data center projects in Sweden. The role involves providing Environment, Health, and Safety guidance, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and the client’s EHS management system. Frequent travel between projects may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise, train, and support project teams, sub-contractors, and visitors on all EHS matters.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate project-specific EHS Plans, Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and safety documentation.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments; recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead incident investigations, establish root causes, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Monitor EHS KPIs, prepare reports, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO14001, ISO45001, Construction Regulations, CDM, and client-specific requirements.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through proactive engagement, training, and incentive schemes.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ EHS experience in data center, electrical, mechanical, or construction environments.
  • NFQ Level 8 Diploma in Occupational H&S; NFQ Level 6 in Environmental Management.
  • Certifications: Safe Pass, CSCS (UK), First Aid, Train the Trainer, IOSH or equivalent.
  • Experience with EHS management systems, audits, and safety schemes (ISO, Achilles, SSiPs).
  • Strong knowledge of legislation, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.

HSE Specialist – Milan

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to provide on-site health, safety, and environmental support for a data center construction project in the Milan area (Noviglio). The successful candidate will ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on-site by implementing and maintaining comprehensive safety programs, conducting audits, and providing training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site construction safety expertise, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards.
  • Partner with General Contractors and subcontractors to promote a culture of safety that prioritizes the well-being of employees, customers, and the public during construction activities.
  • Ensure site safety programs meet regulatory requirements and exceed basic compliance expectations.
  • Manage high-risk construction activities, including electrical safety, excavation, fall protection, material handling, and crane operations.
  • Conduct construction site safety audits, inspections, and provide necessary training.
  • Perform incident investigations and generate detailed reports.
  • Monitor compliance with corporate and General Contractor environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs, as well as federal/jurisdictional regulations.
  • Lead daily safety walks and inspections.
  • Conduct weekly safety audits with construction managers and general contractors.
  • Record daily observations within Procore.
  • Provide safety training to project staff when required.
  • Deliver regular communications, updates, and presentations to stakeholders on a weekly basis or as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in construction site HSE management, preferably in large-scale commercial or data center projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory safety standards and best practices.
  • Fluency in Italian is a must.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Ability to conduct effective safety audits, investigations, and training sessions.
  • Proficiency with construction management software, preferably Procore.
