We are pleased to announce that we are seeking an Authorised Person to join our expanding team in Helsinki, Finland.
Requirements

Engage from early project stages with the Site Management team to implement the agreed Electrical Safe Systems of Work procedures under the instruction of the Lead Appointed Person.

Ensure all workplace personnel are aware of and comply with Electrical Safe Systems of Work.

Issue and control permits for all energised working activities within the scope of work.

Review and fully understand project specifications and drawings, extracting project-specific requirements.

Follow strict operational procedures and adhere to High Voltage safety rules.

Interpret basic electrical protection under fault conditions.

Complete safety documentation and lock-out/tag-out procedures and philosophies.

Review switchgear distribution topology and control systems prior to start-up.

Support and liaise with specialist Testing & Commissioning contractors to conduct early reviews and agree commissioning sequences and test scripts.

Liaise with control system providers (SCADA / BMS / EMS, etc.) during system development and handover under permit control schedules and protocols.
Skills & Qualifications

Relevant third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or an Electrical Trade with relevant training and experience.

Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within an electrical contracting environment, with exposure to commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, or data centre projects.

Experience working on MV/HV systems, including Authorised Person or Appointed Person roles.

Preferably qualified to Level S1 (any voltage) or S2 (up to 1000V).

Electrical testing and verification experience, minimum 3 years.

HV switching authorisations.

Strong process-driven mindset with a focus on EHS and Quality Management Systems.
