About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to support our client’s data center projects in Sweden. The role involves providing Environment, Health, and Safety guidance, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and the client’s EHS management system. Frequent travel between projects may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise, train, and support project teams, sub-contractors, and visitors on all EHS matters.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate project-specific EHS Plans, Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and safety documentation.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments; recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead incident investigations, establish root causes, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Monitor EHS KPIs, prepare reports, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with ISO14001, ISO45001, Construction Regulations, CDM, and client-specific requirements.
- Promote a strong safety culture through proactive engagement, training, and incentive schemes.
- Ensure site compliance with PPE, first aid, and contractor competency requirements.
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ EHS experience in data center, electrical, mechanical, or construction environments.
- NFQ Level 8 Diploma in Occupational H&S; NFQ Level 6 in Environmental Management.
- Certifications: Safe Pass, CSCS (UK), First Aid, Train the Trainer, IOSH or equivalent.
- Experience with EHS management systems, audits, and safety schemes (ISO, Achilles, SSiPs).
- Strong knowledge of legislation, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Proactive, solution-focused, and able to work under strict deadlines.
