Role Purpose:
The Electrical Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing various contracts to ensure maximum commercial benefit for the company, covering the entire project lifecycle from tender stage through to final accounts and all associated duties in between.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the project team to manage different stages of projects, including budgeting, reporting, developing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and profit planning.
- Communicate effectively and lead interim commercial meetings with the client and internal project team. Provide detailed reports to the Project Manager on the commercial status of the project.
- Manage subcontractor accounts, including interim valuations and final accounts. Ensure payment certificates are processed, and payments are made in line with agreed sub-contract and procurement terms, including retentions as specified.
- Administer contract obligations and address additional client requirements as part of the commercial team. Issue interim and final accounts, and progress applications in accordance with project and contract requirements. Ensure monthly applications include accurate remeasures, site changes, dayworks, and any applicable contract claims. Identify and address escalations in materials or labour as necessary.
- Identify potential commercial risks and promptly report them to Senior Management. Follow Senior Management’s direction in undertaking work duties.
- Understand scheduling and its commercial implications. Work closely with the Planning Engineer to ensure accurate progress reporting.
- Cost and agree on daily work changes, including managing subcontractor remeasurement of contract works, site dayworks, and site change orders.
- Maintain accurate records and provide detailed backup to support commercial tracking and costing.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain speed and accuracy in delivering information.
- Negotiate with clients or their representatives as necessary.
- Exhibit enthusiasm, loyalty, and a strong work ethic in the performance of all duties.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4+ years of quantity surveying experience on electrical projects.
- 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying, ideally coupled with a technical background as an Electrician or Electrical Engineer.
- Experience working on electrical projects valued in excess of €4 million within the data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, or commercial sectors.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Detailed knowledge of commercial management and the Quantity Surveyor role within construction.
- Understanding of contract conditions and their applications.
- Strong understanding of the business, client, and subcontractor relationships, and installations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong record-keeping and administration skills.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking Electrical Engineers. The Electrical Engineers will work with a team of electrical sub-contractors as they assist with designing, development and electrical installation within a large electrical system in keeping with project programmes.
These positions will be site-based in Eskilstuna, Sweden.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all works are carried out and managed in accordance with the Integrated Management System
- Manage, review and coordinate drawings, as requested
- Advise and guide the sub-contracted staff on all technical aspects of the project
- Prioritise and allocate the work for the staff on the technical team
- Ensure sub-contractor compliance with all site and project requirements, including operational health and safety obligations
- Apply troubleshooting techniques to identify problems and apply corrective actions
- Manage document control to ensure all logs are kept up to date
- Create handover packs and test packs for systems
- Ensure that all matters of compliance and governance are identified and adhered to, including:
- Review Health & Safety issues on site and ensure that all Subcontractors are working in a safe manner.
- Review ways of working and where possible implement changes to improve safety.
- Ensure housekeeping is kept to a high standard by all Sub Contactors.

Position Summary
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the engineering activities on a specific construction
project. The scope of these activities will vary and will be agreed upon with the Project Manager on an
ongoing basis. You will coordinate the technical design with the onsite installation through to the
successful commissioning, ensuring that the company’s vision, mission, and values are fulfilled.
Electrical Engineer Responsibilities
In conjunction with your project team, you will be responsible for executing various stages of a project,
including:
- Completing electrical design reviews to identify design gaps and deviations or contradictions in the
specifications.
- Validating cable sizing and making recommendations as appropriate.
Ensuring that technical assessments are completed as required and resolving technical issues
without delay.
- Compiling and issuing electrical technical submittals.
- Managing submittals through the approvals process, tracking procurement and delivery of electrical equipment, and completing the receipt verification process once the equipment is delivered.
- Attending and recording regular supply chain meetings to ensure that progress is monitored and
maintained within the overall construction programme.
- Updating and recording progress on system trackers fully aligned with the construction schedule.
- Reviewing the electrical installation with the BIM team to ensure the design is constructible and
that there is adequate space for installation and maintenance of all equipment and cabling.
- Liaising with the design team and supply chain to ensure correct operation of the plant on site and
successful handover.
- Completing electrical system walk-downs to ensure systems are compliant with specifications and
drawings.
- Compiling test packs, FTOPs, and O&Ms, and presenting them for approval.
- Managing specialist vendors during the commissioning process to ensure timely completion of their works.
- Undertaking client training in line with the agreed training plan.
Necessary Requirements
- 3rd level Qualification in Electrical Engineering / Building Services Engineering.
- Experience with both LV and MV systems, primarily in building services and data centre
environments.
- Significant project engineering experience of 4 years+ with an Electrical Contractor.
- Proven record of delivering small to medium Electrical projects (Commercial, Industrial, Pharma,
Data Centre type projects).
- Capability of walking down electrical systems to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Experience in developing technical submittals, and completing technical reviews and assessments.
- Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental systems and procedures.
- Process-driven, with a focus on EHS and Quality Work Management Systems and Processes.
